What is PTA & what do we do?
Your dues help fund advocacy for children & public schools in our local, state, and national government.
Springer School PTA supports students, teachers, and the Springer community by helping to ensure that:
Teachers have what they need to provide an exceptional education
Students have the educational tools they need to learn effectively
Families are engaged in and supported by the Springer community
Springer students are supported by broader district goals and programs
We can’t do it without your support!
National, state, and local PTAs are aligned in their missions to create school community and advocate for public education.
PTA members work to promote family engagement in schools and improve education, health, and safety conditions for children. PTAs also help to improve communication between parents and teachers, and contribute to school administration. Over 125 years of history National PTA has assisted in establishing programs and legislation that improves our children’s lives, such as: the creation of Kindergarten, child labor laws, public health service, juvenile justice system, arts in education and school safety policies.
HOW CAN YOU HELP ACCOMPLISH OUR MISSION?
VOLUNTEER! Your volunteer time is the most valuable asset we have! Springer PTA funds and volunteers organize events that unite the Springer community and help us remember what makes neighborhood schools so wonderful! Learn more about volunteering…there’s a way for EVERYONE to help!
DONATE! Your donations to the Springer PTA help provide educational supplies, STEM and library resources, music and arts programs for lower grades, lunchtime activities, environmental and nature programs, social-emotional learning, and much more! Every dollar matters. We ask parents to donate at least $400 per student each year. Consider donating today.
