Sat, Sep, 15, 2026 @ 5:30-7pm: LASD Back to School Social hosted by Almond PTA.
All LASD families are invited to come together for the LASD Welcome Back Social at Almond Elementary School (550 Almond Ave. Los Altos)! It’s a great opportunity to meet families from across the district, reconnect after summer, and kick off the school year as a community. Kona Ice and Joe's Taco Truck will be there for food, plus Golden Eagle Sports Camp will be running fun field games for kids. Everything will be hosted on the blacktop and under the big tent by the field.
We hope to see lots of Springer families there! Find the Springer tent and hang out with us!

Led by LASD Art Docents & hosted by Covington PTA. Student submissions will be accepted until a few days before in each school office. The LASD Student Art Showcase will be on display at Almond Elementary on Wed, Nov 18 5-7 PM at Covington Elementary. Registration closes and art pieces are due just before the event.
This event will be a celebration of student art and local artists showcase by Gallery 9. Come enjoy an evening together as an LASD community. Questions? kdickerson@lasdschools.org

First Week of February 2027: LASD Spelling Bees
Led by Springer Teachers & hosted at Gardner Bullis Elementary. Each school will host their own Spelling Bee at school the first week of February - thank you teachers! Ten students from each school will be invited to compete in the LASD event on February 11, 2027 at Gardner Bullis Elementary. The top three students will represent LASD in the Santa Clara County Spelling Bee. Questions? president@springerpta.org
